2NE1 Sandara Park was accused of 'drug targeting' by Park Bom, causing controversy, and it was confirmed that her contract with the agency has also ended.
On the 3rd, Abyss Company said regarding Park Bom's post about 'targeting Sandara Park' that was posted that day that "The exclusive contract has now expired."
Earlier, Sandara Park announced a new start after moving to Abyss Company following the expiration of her exclusive contract with YG Entertainment, where she had been since her debut in 2021. It was revealed that she had also ended about a four-year relationship with Abyss Company.
Meanwhile, on that day Park Bom drew attention by explaining her position on the 2010 Adderall import controversy on her social account. At the time, Park Bom caused controversy for importing amphetamine, a psychotropic drug classified as a controlled substance in Korea, through international mail without customs declaration and Ministry of Food and Drug Safety approval. However, prosecutors confirmed it was for treatment purposes and suspended the indictment.
Regarding this, Park Bom said, "That's (Adderall) not a drug. I have ADD (attention deficit disorder)," and at the same time claimed, "Park Sandara got caught for drugs and to cover that up they made Park Bom look like a drug user," stirring a reaction. However, a close associate of Park Bom stepped in to contain the situation, telling OSEN in a phone call, "This happened because Park Bom became unstable in health. We ask for your understanding."
