The world's first sign-language idol Big Ocean (Big Ocean) is making a comeback today (3rd) with a more intense look than before.
Big Ocean (Chanyeon, PJ, Jiseok) will release their third mini album 'THE GREATEST BATTLE' at 6 p.m. today (3rd) on various music sites.
Big Ocean's third mini album 'THE GREATEST BATTLE' includes a total of eight tracks, including the double title tracks 'One Man Army' and 'Cold Moon', and 'Alive', 'Back', 'Alive (inst.)', 'One Man Army (inst.)', 'Back (inst.)', and 'Cold Moon (inst.)'.
Through this album, Big Ocean attempted a transformation from their previously bright and hopeful image to a more intense and restrained atmosphere. The heavy charisma and sharp gazes revealed through concept photos, music video teasers and various teasing contents visually realize the album's keyword "battle" and heightened expectations by heralding the start of a new chapter.
The first track 'Alive' is a song that announces the beginning of the battle. It contains a declaration of existence that blooms by ultimately surviving even in the darkest moments.
The second track and double title song 'One Man Army' is inspired by Admiral Yi Sun-sin's Battle of Myeongnyang and depicts the will to produce victory even in desperate situations. All Big Ocean members participated in composing this song, adding significance, and the majestic strings, heavy 808 bass and traditional military instrument sounds combine to maximize the tension of battle.
The third track 'Back' expresses the thrill of returning after sounding the victory gong, and the contrast between its calmly starting and explosively erupting sounds completes a dramatic narrative. The final track and double title song 'Cold Moon' uses the moon as a motif to depict the restrained inner discipline matured after battle. While 'One Man Army' was an external battle, this song captures an internal battle.
Big Ocean's third mini album 'THE GREATEST BATTLE' is an album themed on "a battle that wins like a miracle." Through track 1 'Alive' they declare being alive, then 'One Man Army', who chose to fight alone, 'Back', who sharpens himself and returns from a defeated past, and 'Cold Moon', which completes inner growth through restrained emotions, unfold like a single narrative drama to three-dimensionally contain Big Ocean's saga.
Meanwhile, Big Ocean released their third mini album 'THE GREATEST BATTLE' today (3rd) and will embark on a U.S. tour starting in Chicago (Illinois) on April 10, touring major U.S. cities.
