Broadcast personality Lee Sang-min revealed his sincere feelings toward his wife, who is 10 years his junior.
On the 2nd, a video featuring Lee Sang-min, Tak Jae-Hoon, and Kim Jun-Ho was released on the YouTube channel Zzanbro hosted by Shin Dong-yeob. That day Shin Dong-yeob asked Lee Sang-min, "Was there a reason you didn't have a wedding?" Lee Sang-min remarried last year to a non-celebrity woman 10 years his junior.
In response, Lee Sang-min said, "Both my wife and I thought that if we had a wedding there would be a lot to prepare and a lot of expenses," and he added, "There were a lot of needless things you have to pay for," citing practical reasons.
But the mood soon shifted to "talk about his wife." Tak Jae-Hoon said, "I've never seen (Lee Sang-min's wife)," and Kim Jun-Ho added, "It was the first time meeting her, and she is quite beautiful. Honestly, she's such a loss. The sister-in-law is," prompting laughter.
Back at his seat, Lee Sang-min shared the love story himself. He recalled, "I did home shopping and somehow met her. But she was so pretty."
He went on, "I had no thought at all about marriage," and confessed, "Before meeting my wife, I had panic attacks and a mental breakdown to the point where I couldn't do anything, and it got so serious that they filmed me receiving treatment on My Little Old Boy, but it was edited out because it was too bad."
He added, "I'd reached a comfortable living, but if I died my estate would go to people I barely know, and I wouldn't have family. So I thought, 'I should meet someone,'" and said, "I looked through the phone book and contacted someone with the thought, 'At least have a meal with whoever answers the phone.'"
Lee Sang-min explained, "I wasn't mentally ready in the past, but now I realized I should get married," and said, "I sent a text asking to have a meal after meeting (my wife) once, and that's how we met."
