Kang Ho-dong resurrected the 'spring cabbage bibimbap mukbang' after 18 years.
Kang Ho-dong's Bookstore, which will be first released on the 6th, released a teaser video on the 2nd.
In the released video, Kang Ho-dong appears with his characteristic vigorous energy, shouting, "Everyone, spring cabbage bibimbap is here!" while sitting in front of a large metal basin.
He then said, "Only one spoonful of rice," but scooped a ladleful and poured sesame oil generously. After piling the spring cabbage high, he grabbed the basin with both hands and mixed it thoroughly, a scene that seemed to recreate the past moment exactly.
After taking a bite, Kang Ho-dong said, "Eomui, cabbage is really tastier than meat," reciting the legendary line he left on the 2008 episode of 2 Days & 1 Night, drawing attention.
At the time, the scene in which he heartily mixed and ate the spring cabbage bibimbap in an aluminum pot is still talked about as a 'legendary mukbang.'
Recently, the scene has spread again online and has emerged as a viral reverse-trend content. Spring cabbage bibimbap recipes and verification photos have been posted one after another, creating a mood that it is spreading into an actual dining trend. Reactions such as "Dubai jjondeuk cookie is gone and spring cabbage is here," "a scene unforgettable even after 18 years," and "I get hungry every time I watch it" followed.
Recreating the mukbang after 18 years, Kang Ho-dong repeatedly praised the taste, saying, "This is incredible. You really can't eat this alone," drawing attention.
