Park Hee-seon, who appeared on the Netflix dating show "Single's Inferno season 5 (Single's Inferno 5)," has become a Seoul National University student. The student, who had been majoring in information systems at Carnegie Mellon University, one of the top universities in the United States, was selected this year as a visiting student at Seoul National University.
On the 2nd, Park Hee-seon posted a screenshot of "MySNU," the Seoul National University portal, on Instagram and opened by saying, "Please help." Park then asked questions such as "It's the start of the semester and I don't know things like where the classrooms are," "Where's the best place to eat," and "Do people usually eat at the student cafeteria."
Park Hee-seon said, "I had a dream of attending a Korean school," adding, "I applied to Seoul National University and Yonsei University as a visiting student, and after thinking it over, I chose Seoul National University because it's closer to home." Born in 2003, Park graduated from Chadwick International School Songdo and went on to Carnegie Mellon University.
Carnegie Mellon University is known as an institution that receives high international recognition in information technology, computer science and engineering, artificial intelligence (AI), Robotics, and human-computer interaction (HCI). In 2026, it also ranked No. 1 in management information systems by U.S. News & World Report.
Meanwhile, Park Hee-seon was selected as Miss Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon in 2024, then competed in Miss Korea 2024 and finished as Sun. Park drew attention on the recently concluded "Single's Inferno 5" as a "look-alike of Jang Won-young," and in the final episode became the final couple with actor Lim Su-bin.
