Broadcaster Jun Hyun-moo visited his alma mater KBS and handed out the grand prize rice cake, reuniting with treasured acquaintances.
On the 1st episode of KBS2's 'The boss's ears are donkey ears,' the scene showed Jun Hyun-moo visiting the KBS announcer's office to hand out the grand prize rice cake after winning the entertainment grand prize.
In that episode, while Jun Hyun-moo was handing out the grand prize rice cake, he met with the announcer Deputy Minister, and later toured the duty room and radio studio, conducting "latte talk." In particular, when announcer Eom Ji-in asked Jun Hyun-moo in the radio studio he called his refuge, "Were you alone?" he replied "Up to there," dismissing rumors of an in-house romance and drawing laughter.
Jun Hyun-moo arrived on the floor that houses the entertainment center where he nurtured his dream. Looking down the hallway he had walked countless times, he said, "I thought I had to be acknowledged by the entertainment department no matter what. I wanted to show that although I was just a single male announcer you were uninterested in, I had this level of ability."
In particular, Jun Hyun-moo also reunited with producer Lee Dong-hoon, who directed the "Unprecedented Jun Hyun-moo Show," which Jun Hyun-moo launched under his own name after returning to KBS. The "Unprecedented Jun Hyun-moo Show," created as a holiday pilot special, recorded a 4.5% rating and was not picked up as a regular series, and Lee Dong-hoon said behind the scenes, "I was dragged into the director-general's office, got scolded, and moved to another team. My life as a PD wobbled." Jun Hyun-moo recalled, "That was when my freelance life wobbled."
