Next, Son Seung-yeon, the winner of 'The Voice Korea' seasons 1 and 2, and Lee Ye-jun faced off. Son Seung-yeon chose Ahn Ye-eun's "Sangsa-hwa" and showcased her powerful vocal ability, while Lee Ye-jun sang Naul's "Memory of the Wind" and perfectly executed the three-step high notes, drawing admiration.
Above all, Rhee Minjung said, "I was about to cry but the high notes pulled me in," and "It was a showdown between a monster and AI. Does the monster crush it, or does AI conquer it?" she could not hide her amazement at the two performers' stages.
In fact, Rhee Minjung, who was watching the stage with concentration, was startled and said "What a surprise" at Son Seung-yeon's display of high notes. At Lee Ye-jun's three-step high notes, her pupils dilated and she was left speechless.
Meanwhile, in the results of the match, Son Seung-yeon defeated Ahn Ye-jun and advanced to round 2, where she faced Huh Gak.
