TOMORROW X TOGETHER will make a comeback on April 13 with their first album since renewing their contracts.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER (Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Hueningkai) announced on the 2nd at 12 a.m. through the global superfans platform Weverse that they will release mini album 8, "7TH YEAR: When the wind briefly stopped in the bramble." It is their first group album to be released since all members renewed their contracts with BigHit Music in August last year.
The "7TH YEAR" in the album title encapsulates the team's past time. The lyrical and long title "When the wind briefly stopped in the bramble" evokes TOMORROW X TOGETHER's early music. They previously drew attention with distinctive titles such as their debut song "One Day, a Horn Grew From My Head (CROWN)," the title track from their first full-length album Dream Chapter: MAGIC, "9 and 4/3 platforms at Platform 9 3/4 I wait for you (Run Away)," and others. The album title, which recalls their debut era, is attracting attention on its own.
An official trailer and photos were released along with the release announcement. The black-and-white video features several people facing anxiety and agony. The fluorescent thornbush that contrasts sharply with the black-and-white screen and silhouettes covered in thorns leave viewers curious about the message of the new album. The five members recite the lyrics of the poet and village chief's "thornbush" in calm voices to heighten immersion. The photos also use the bramble as an object and maintain the same polished black-and-white tone as the video, drawing attention.
The new album's trailer premiered at the debut seventh anniversary special concert "2026 TXT MOA CON" held on March 1, receiving enthusiastic responses from the audience. The concert, held at KSPO DOME in Olympic Park, Songpa District, Seoul from Feb. 27 for three days, drew about 33,000 people. The members presented a set list encompassing the narrative of the past seven years and performed with a live band. They also revealed different charms by singing each other's solo songs and added fun to the show with various cover stages. Toward the end of the concert, they expressed heartfelt remarks, saying, "The team is so precious. We want to stay together and protect it. We hope you will stay by our side for a long time so we can do that."
TOMORROW X TOGETHER's mini album 8, "7TH YEAR: When the wind briefly stopped in the bramble," will be released at 6 p.m. on April 13. Preorders start at 11 a.m. on the 3rd.
