On the Feb. 2 broadcast of SBS variety show "Ani Geunde Jinja," Lee Yongjin and Shin Gi-ru appeared.
On that broadcast Lee Yongjin appeared as a guest, and when a photo of Lee Yongjin at age 27 was revealed he playfully said, "I was a yakuza then," and seeing this Tak Jae-Hoon pressed him, "Why are you the No. 1 comedian people want to marry? Have you ever had someone confess to you?" Lee Yongjin retorted, "You give off a similar vibe," and "Shall I tell everything?" and Kai fired back, "That's ridiculous," turning the scene into a sea of laughter.
He also opened up about why the wedding was held privately. Lee Yongjin said, "I won't answer questions about married life at all. It's something agreed with my family," explaining he strictly protects his private life. He added, "We met through a blind date and got married, and we've been together 15 years from dating until now. I'm loyal, so I don't break up lightly." He also said, "I hate it when someone pretends not to have a girlfriend while having one," and mentioned an anecdote about a love story he tried to reveal on "Radio Star" being completely edited out, adding to the laughter.
The relationship with Shin Gi-ru, who appeared with him, also became a hot topic. When asked whether the two were "between love and friendship," Shin Gi-ru answered, "more than friendship, less than love," and Lee Yongjin fired back, "I'd rather wear a prison uniform and receive electric torture," provoking uproarious laughter. He also added, "I like Shin Gi-ru's tall-tale comedy the most."
Next, photos of Shin Gi-ru's middle school days were revealed. Shin Gi-ru recalled, "When I was 16 and 90kg," and the cast exclaimed, "Cute."
