On the 1st broadcast, SBS My Little Old Boy (hereinafter "My Little Old Boy") revealed a very special meeting between the two protagonists of the legendary drama Paris Lover, Park Shin-yang and Lee Dong-gun, which excited the entire nation.
Actor Park Shin-yang met with Heo Kyunghwan and Lee Dong-gun and recalled the filming of Paris Lover 22 years ago. He remembered that at the time he was suffering from severe back pain and tried to call a doctor he knew to ask for a solution. Park Shin-yang said, "It was even difficult to lift the receiver to my ear," suggesting how serious his condition was at the time.
In the end, Park Shin-yang urgently called an ambulance and was taken to the hospital. After he regained consciousness and opened his eyes, his production coordinator was standing in front of him. The coordinator reportedly said to the bedridden Park Shin-yang, "Mr. Park Shin-yang, you have to get up. The whole nation is waiting for Paris Lover."
Recalling the time, Park Shin-yang honestly confessed, "That figure looked not like an angel but like a devil," which made the set laugh. Lee Dong-gun, who appeared with him, said that he could forget the pain thanks to the explosive popularity at the time, adding, "I was able to film because of the tremendous response," and described the atmosphere then as "feeling as if I were slightly floating in the air."
