Former AOA member and singer Choa will take on a role as a host of a new program.
On the 1st, Choa posted on her social media, "I'm really, really doing a great program this time! Right away! SBS "Intellectual Chatter." The first broadcast is Feb. 28," along with several photos.
In the photos, Choa poses side by side with cast members Seo Kyung-seok and Heo Seong-beom of "Intellectual Chatter." "Intellectual Chatter" is an intelligent cultural talk show that filters out only the facts while laughing and chatting, covering everything from health myths everyone has believed at least once to confusing medical knowledge. This marks about three years since Choa's last appearance on terrestrial television, which was MBC "Car to the Future" in 2023.
Returning to a terrestrial program after a long time, Choa showed a noticeably changed face. On a YouTube channel last year, Choa addressed rumors of marriage and plastic surgery, saying, "Because I rested for a while, there have been talks like 'this and that.' If I stay silent, they seem to become accepted as fact," and added, "I need to address things that have gone too far."
Meanwhile, Choa debuted as an AOA member in 2012 and left the group in June 2017.
