Girls' Generation member Tiffany Young and actor Byun Yo-Han have completed their marriage registration and become legal spouses, drawing attention as rumors of a premarital pregnancy and an AI wedding photo incident followed.
Byun Yo-Han's agency TEAMHOPE issued an official statement to OSEN on Feb. 27 saying "the premarital pregnancy is not true." Earlier, both sides announced on the same day that they had filed their marriage registration. At that time "based on deep trust and love, we have tied the bond of marriage. We wanted to share this with fans first," they said, and they became a married couple.
The two acknowledged their relationship last Dec. on the premise of marriage, and about two months later they became legal spouses. However, the wedding date and venue have not yet been finalized, and they are reportedly carefully considering a simple ceremony in the form of a worship service with family members.
The two met through work. They first worked together in the Disney+ original series "Uncle SamSik," released in May 2024, then developed into a romantic relationship and reached the fruition of marriage in about a year and a half.
Shortly after the news broke, images presumed to be the couple's wedding photos spread online. The images, which drew intense interest, showed Byun Yo-Han wearing a pink suit and Tiffany Young posing in a dress of a similar tone, with Girls' Generation members gathered to congratulate them.
However, the photos were confirmed not to be actual wedding shoots. Byun Yo-Han's side said "we did not take those images," and the incident was ultimately settled as an event in which AI-generated images spread as if they were real. In reality, the two have not yet held a ceremony or conducted wedding photography.
Having become legal spouses first through marriage registration, the two are currently coordinating specific wedding plans and are said to be considering arranging a quiet occasion in which they share their gratitude with family members in the future.
