Chef Jung Ji-seon made an outrageous mistake.
On the 1st episode of KBS2's 'The CEO's Ears Are Donkey Ears,' scenes showed Jung Ji-seon meeting Jun Hyun-moo and chef Shin Gye-suk, who visited the KBS announcer's office.
Allegations arose that Jung Ji-seon imitated IVE's Liz, who appeared as a special MC. When a photo showing a similar hairstyle was released, Jung Ji-seon explained, "I did it because of the pop-up store," saying she had collaborated with a character that resembled her. When asked if she would work with chef Jung Ji-seon, Liz said, "Her way of speaking is strong, so at first you might misunderstand, but as time passes you'll realize it's for me," while also taking a jab with "If it goes well it's the boss's fault; if it goes poorly it's the staff's fault," drawing laughter.
Jung Ji-seon asked Shin Gye-suk to help develop a new menu for overseas stores. Shin Gye-suk suggested they have a contest because doing it plainly would be boring. In response, while Jung Ji-seon was presenting 'Wuding jeongban?x,' which involved preparing eggplant, garlic stems, abalone, shrimp and chicken and mixing them with a sauce, she made the mistake of putting salt in because she could not distinguish between salt and sugar. Jung Ji-seon said, "Most Chinese kitchen settings are similar, so I mistakenly thought the settings would be the same," but Liz said, "At this point, isn't that like not being able to tell dance from song?" which flustered Jung Ji-seon.
