'Amazing Saturday' DAY6 Young K has appeared as a new fixed member.
On Feb. 28, the tvN variety show 'Amazing Saturday' (hereinafter 'Amazing Saturday') aired and the new Doremi member DAY6 Young K appeared. The Doremi members of Amazing Saturday, who had been amicable up to the opening, were shocked by a fact that even MC Boom did not know. The production team even revealed that when Young K appeared they changed Boom's script, deceiving Boom as well.
As the vocal and bassist of the band DAY6 and a songwriter and composer, Young K, with the charm he has shown so far, seemed like a talented person who could fill the vacant spots of SHINee's Key, Short Mouth Sun and Park Na-rae. Last December, Short Mouth Sun, SHINee's Key and Park Na-rae announced their voluntary withdrawal from Amazing Saturday after controversies, disappearing from the show where they had stayed for several years.
Amazing Saturday saw Hyeri, one of the founding members, leave to focus on acting, after which Taeyeon joined, and later, as male members such as P.O. were absent due to military enlistment, SHINee's Key filled the spot with his crazy variety sense and the show enjoyed renewed popularity.
As is well known, Young K is a master of mukbang and shone in the round 1 opening game, nearly finishing the king crab burger in one bite. The dictation game song that day was by RIIZE, 'Back Bad Back', a song that captured the heart of an idol about to debut. Would Young K take the one-shot? Young K said, "The production team said it was absolutely a secret so I didn't say a word," and said, "I have an important shoot on Friday," showing a reliable side.
Young K, currently in the DAY6 10th anniversary concert, said, "DAY6 10th anniversary concert is ongoing. I want to join quickly, so I'm adjusting my schedule. I'll go to work and come back quickly."
