Actor Go Youn-jung manipulates manitto Park Myung Soo with a surprising "story gift."
MBC 'Manitto Club' is an Undercover real variety show with the concept of people who know how to share one received item into two, and Jung Haein, Go Youn-jung, Park Myung Soo, Hong Jin Kyung, and Kim Do-hoon are active as the season 2 cast. Episode 5, which airs today (the 1st, Sunday) at 6:05 p.m., will feature a cat-and-mouse manitto gift operation between Park Myung Soo and Go Youn-jung.
The released preview video shows 'polar bear' Park Myung Soo heading out to a live radio schedule. Having been completely fooled earlier by 'koala' Go Youn-jung, who had gifted him a caricature bread box, he began searching for the manitto as soon as he arrived at the studio and activated ultra-sensitive alert mode.
Convinced Go Youn-jung was a man, Park Myung Soo asked the production team to search, saying, "Have one man watch closely or check if someone leaves something," and urged the security guard, "Please look carefully at the faces of people coming in," showing determination to completely block the manitto's movements. He became so alert to even small movements of listeners watching that he triumphantly returned to his main job, mistakenly believing he had captured the manitto, drawing laughter.
But the twist came during the story introduction segment. A listener's story arrived saying, "I wanted to give my favorite bread to an older brother I like, so I wandered in minus-10-degree cold," and the author of the story was Go Youn-jung using the name 'Ma Hee-do.' Unable to deliver the gift in person due to scheduling, Go Youn-jung cleverly used the radio story to catch Park Myung Soo off guard.
Reading the story, Park Myung Soo quickly couldn't hide his embarrassment. Mistakenly thinking Go Youn-jung had already been there, he shouted, "It's the police and the thief now. We have to find them," and launched a search. He even suspected she might have disguised herself as a delivery worker, approaching a passing delivery person, which caused uproarious laughter. The question of whether Park Myung Soo will uncover Go Youn-jung's identity after relentless pursuit adds to the anticipation for the broadcast.
