'MZ wannabe icon' IVE (IVE: An Yujin·Gaeul·Ray·Jang Wonyoung·Reeze·Lee Seo) continues its success with a music show triple crown.
IVE on the 28th topped the last week of February on MBC Show! Music Core with the pre-release double title track "BANG BANG" from their second full album REVIVE+ (Revive Plus). With this, they achieved a music show triple crown following Mnet's M Countdown and KBS2's MUSIC BANK.
IVE, through their agency Starship Entertainment, said they were very happy to receive their third music show trophy with "BANG BANG." They said the song was one in which they worked hard on vocals and performance across the board because they wanted to show a different side of IVE, trying various approaches, and they were very grateful and proud that many people, including their official fan club DIVE, seemed to like it. They added they will continue to put sincerity into their music and stages and remain a group that is always new and anticipated. They asked for continued support as they will keep showing great stages with "BLACKHOLE."
The triple-crown song "BANG BANG" carries a message of forging a path through independent choices without being swayed by outside opinions, announcing a powerful start to IVE's second full album. In particular, it recorded the first "PAK (perfect all-kill)" among releases in 2026, marking their sixth overall PAK, and as of 9 a.m. today (the 1st) it is holding the No. 1 spot on major domestic real-time music charts, showing solid success.
Their stage presence also stood out. Performing the double title track "Blackhole" that day, IVE created an unmissable visual and unique aura with chic black-toned styling. Even within the grand, musical-like performance, they continued unshakable live vocals that drew admiration, and choreography ranging from the addictive "Look At Me" dance to a formation centered on Lee Seo that widely spread to depict a black hole captivated viewers.
"Blackhole" is a song built on cinematic sounds that contains IVE's view of the present and a change toward a greater leap. With the lyric "whatever you want will come true," it delivers a confident and hopeful message and redefines IVE-style narcissism.
