Lim Ha Ryong expressed remorse to Shim Hyung Rae.
On Feb. 28, Lim Ha Ryong appeared on MBN 'Kim Joo Ha's Day & Night' (hereafter Day & Night).
Lim Ha Ryong said he was grateful for gaining great popularity while performing as a comedy duo with Shim Hyung Rae, but that after Shim Hyung Rae became obsessed with insects they each went their separate ways.
He said, "Later, when we did 'Bbo Bbo Bbo' they told me to wear a grasshopper mask, so I quit. When I was young my dream was to be an action actor. How much action can an insect do? I quit and had nothing else to do. I wanted to do sketches."
Shim Hyung Rae sent a special video message for Lim Ha Ryong. Watching it fondly, Lim Ha Ryong said he felt sorry to Shim Hyung Rae, saying, "I was the one who supported him all this time, and when I quit... I should have strongly dissuaded him even when he did films. Hyung Rae has a kind of pitiable quality."<
