According to the Daily Mail's report on Feb. 28, Jim CARRY attended the 51st César Awards in Paris last Friday and received a lifetime achievement award. But that day the public's attention was focused on his changed "face" as much as his glorious award.
Jim CARRY, who appeared on the red carpet, showed none of his former playful expressions and surprised fans with a somewhat unnatural, tightened face. On social media, reactions alleging plastic surgery poured in, saying, "Is that the Jim CARRY I knew?", "It looks like he had too much cosmetic surgery," and "He looks like Bill Maher or Kris Jenner."
Jim CARRY drew attention as he was accompanied by Min Ah (Min Ah, 32), his partner 32 years his junior. Min Ah, who showed off elegance in a black lace dress, walked the red carpet with Jim CARRY and displayed affection. During his acceptance speech, Jim CARRY publicly expressed his feelings, saying in French, "my sublime companion Min Ah, I love you."
Jim CARRY also moved the audience with an emotional acceptance speech. He dedicated the lifetime achievement award to his late father, recalling, "My father was someone who, even after meeting for five minutes, felt like I had known him for 50 years." He also mentioned that his ancestors who emigrated to Canada were from France, saying, "With this award today, it feels like my family's long journey has finally returned to its starting point and is complete," earning applause.
