Amazing Saturday DAY6 Young K appeared as a new member to fill in for Park Na-rae, SHINee's Key, and Short Mouth Sun.
On the 218th to air, tvN variety show Amazing Saturday (hereafter 'Amazing Saturday') featured Young K making a surprise appearance after the opening remarks. Even the MC Boom had no idea.
Shin Dong-yeob and P.O. were very surprised. They had met Young K socially a few days earlier and shared drinks. Shin Dong-yeob said, "A few days ago P.O. and I met at an acquaintance's house of Young K and had a housewarming and had a drink," noting that he had no idea. Young K said, "The production team told me it was absolutely secret so I didn't say a word," and added, "They told me there was an important shoot on Friday," saying he had made that point in his own way.
On Amazing Saturday, Park Na-rae, SHINee's Key, and Short Mouth Sun, who had firmly held their spots for years handling games, variety and mukbang respectively, recently all stepped down at once amid controversy, and with the arrival of the one-tool Young K who can do it all, much activity was expected.
