Singer Lee Hyori released photos capturing happy moments with her beloved dog.
On the 28th, Lee Hyori posted photos with the caption "Do you feel tired and like everything is a mess? But when you look back later, it will have been the happiest moment^^".
The released photos show Lee Hyori at home rolling on the blanket with her dog, spending her happiest time. Lee Hyori, known as a prominent dog lover in the entertainment industry, has been with many dogs over the years, and in January a family-like Gwana, who shared 15 years with her, crossed the rainbow bridge after a battle with illness, drawing sorrow.
At the time, Lee Hyori's husband Lee Sang Soon announced the sad news on his personal social media, saying "Gwana, whom I first met in 2011 and who stayed by my side for 15 years, has passed away," which made fans mourn.
Especially amid the recent death of actor Ku Sung-hwan's dog Kkot-bun, photos of Lee Hyori and her dogs drew even more attention when they were released.
Ku Sung-hwan cared for the adopted Kkot-bun like a real daughter, but news came that Kkot-bun suddenly died on Feb. 14 ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday, shocking people.
On the 21st, Ku Sung-hwan announced Kkot-bun's death on his personal social media. He began, "I don't know how many times I've written and deleted this post," and confessed, "Even as I write this, I don't want to accept it and I can't believe it. My daughter, my younger sister, my companion Kkot-bun crossed the rainbow bridge on Feb. 14."
He continued, "Kkot-bun received so much love that I wanted to tell her how grateful I am for all the love given in this life. If I had known she would leave like this, I would have fed her more delicious food and taken her on more walks; only regret remains," and added, "You were so kind and full of charm, Kkot-bun.. thank you, I'm sorry, I love you so much. Let's definitely meet again someday.. Eat lots of tasty food there, run and play happily with friends.. I really love you so much," leaving his final farewell.
Along with this, the Feb. 27 episode of I Live Alone showed Kkot-bun alive for the last time, making viewers feel even more heavyhearted.
With the precious dogs of Lee Hyori and Ku Sung-hwan dying within a month, the public also expressed greater sorrow.
