Also, Code Kunst and Lee Dong-hwi summoned childhood memories on a Busan trip to find blocks. Fashionista Lee Dong-hwi stole the spotlight with "Seoul Station TPO" fashion and grabbed attention.
On the broadcast of I Live Alone on the 27th (directed by Heo Hang, Kang Ji-hee, Kim Jin-kyung, Moon Ki-young, Jeong Ji-woon), Jun Hyun-moo's "Rainbow Grand Bazaar" after-service part 2 and Code Kunst and Lee Dong-hwi leaving for Busan to find a treasure trove of block toys were revealed.
According to ratings firm Nielsen Korea on the 28th, the household rating for I Live Alone that aired the previous day was 6.0% in the Seoul metropolitan area, ranking first among all programs on Friday. Also, the 20-54 rating, a key channel competitiveness indicator reflecting changes in media consumption, was 3.4%, ranking first among all programs on Friday.
The "best one minute" was the scene where Jun Hyun-moo gifted Ku Sung-hwan the "mujjonku," and it recorded a peak rating of 6.7%. Ku Sung-hwan squeezed his eyes shut at the unexpectedly shocking visuals but, surprised by the twist in flavor, exclaimed, "It's better than what I ate in Gangnam."
Following last week, Jun Hyun-moo's "Rainbow Grand Bazaar" after-service continued. He visited Ahn Jae-hyeon's home to deliver a large oven, and delivered a "grand prize bowl" to Ku Sung-hwan. Also, Jun Hyun-moo's "mujjonku" gifts, which captured the tastes of writers Im Woo-il and Park Cheon-hyu, continued.
With everyone's attention on how Ahn Jae-hyeon and Ku Sung-hwan would react, Ahn Jae-hyeon was visibly excited after being thoroughly fooled by Jun Hyun-moo's lie that he had bought it from a famous place. After seeing the reality of the "mujjonku," Ahn Jae-hyeon elicited big laughs with a broken reaction of "surprise–disappointment–emptiness." Ku Sung-hwan was also taken aback by the shocking "mujjonku" visuals.
Jun Hyun-moo's on-the-ground after-service was repaid by the customers. Ahn Jae-hyeon gifted him a luxury padding jacket that had become small for him and treated Jun Hyun-moo to homemade curry and green onion kimchi. Ku Sung-hwan said, "I wanted to show you the taste," and served pepper-filled gnocchi and tiramisu.
Jun Hyun-moo had eaten ramen at Im Woo-il's home, sushi at writer Park Cheon-hyu's home, and curry at Ahn Jae-hyeon's home and was full, but he was moved by Ku Sung-hwan's motherly devotion and filled "Mumu's four meals." He said of everyone preparing meals for him, "I felt Korea's warmth," adding, "It was a tiring day, but I felt really good."
Meanwhile, the last moments of Ku Sung-hwan's dog "Kkot-bun," who recently crossed the rainbow bridge to dog-star, moved viewers. Following the adorable "Kkot-bun" greeting Jun Hyun-moo, memories of the happy times between Ku Sung-hwan and "Kkot-bun" continued, conveying the warm heart of the I Live Alone production team that remembers and cherishes "Kkot-bun."
Also revealed was Code Kunst's trip to Busan with his close friend Lee Dong-hwi. At 4:50 a.m., Code Kunst met Lee Dong-hwi in front of Seoul Station and burst out laughing at Lee Dong-hwi's fashion full of holes. Code Kunst teased, "Did you match your TPO up to Seoul Station?" Lee Ju-seung said, "It looks like you'll feed the pigeons...," and Jun Hyun-moo said, "Isn't that Pumba?" expressing surprise at fashionista Lee Dong-hwi's perplexing(?) fashion.
Code Kunst said, "We both like block toys, and I heard there's a really unique treasure trove in Busan, so we're going," explaining the trip's purpose. The two boarded the train to Busan with Lee Dong-hwi and, having arrived too early, strolled Busan's streets enjoying sights and food. Starting with vintage shop shopping, they fully enjoyed Busan as their hearts led them, from a hot pizza spot to a cat café.
After enjoying a "leisurely date," the two entered the "sanctuary of block maniacs" and couldn't take their eyes off the feast of blocks. As if returned to childhood, watching the variety of block toys with joy and wonder, the Rainbow members also sank into memories together.
Guided by the owner, Code Kunst and Lee Dong-hwi headed to a "secret room" where limited editions and rare vintage blocks were densely stored. Code Kunst discovered the long-sought "monkey block" and could not hide his excitement. Immersed in the "world of blocks," the two ended up carrying out so many block boxes that two hands were not enough, prompting laughter.
Next week teases the passionate daily life of singer Tsuki, in her second year living alone, and Lee Ju-seung's aspirations to become a "fashion person," generating anticipation.
