On Feb. 28, Lim Ha Ryong appeared on MBN's Kim Ju-ha's Day & Night (hereafter Day & Night).
Lim Ha Ryong won best supporting actor five years after debuting as a film actor. At the time, Ahn Sung-ki and Hwang Jung-min were nominees. Lim Ha Ryong said, "'Welcome to Dongmakgol' drew quite a large audience that year. I was very happy inside."
Lim Ha Ryong said, "In the past, comedians all made films. I met the right era and the right people. These days there are many talented youngsters."
Lim Ha Ryong expressed his wish, "I would like to try a love scene once. Even if not with friends like Kim Hye-soo or Jun Ji-hyun, I'd like to play a father and daughter at least. I only get cast as North Korean soldiers or the neighborhood village head. I also want to try an elderly love scene."
