That day Lim Ha Ryong lifted the mood by showing his signature catchphrase and diamond step. Lim Ha Ryong explained about his distinctive diamond step, "Usually it's the knees, but the ankles... (after doing it) it hurts for a month." Immediately after showing the dance, Lim Ha Ryong said, "On top of that, I recently had multifocal surgery, so my eyes keep tearing up," breathing heavily.
Lim Ha Ryong, who wanted to become an actor, became a comedian after repeated failures in actor auditions and rose to success, and eventually took the path of an actor. Lim Ha Ryong added that his childhood dream was to be a painter, and he also showed off his exceptional drawing skills.
Lim Ha Ryong recalled the hard times. Lim Ha Ryong explained the difficult situation at the time, "After I returned from the military, only one house was left. I sold the house to pay off debts. Then we had to rent. We moved 12 times a year. In the neighborhood, because my father suddenly got sick... my mother even ran a street stall."
Lim Ha Ryong said, "At that time, my wife was pretty and that helped a lot. She thought I was her older brother and even left me notes. Even though I was the husband and the household was ruined, she brought home a young woman and it was so joyful."
Lim Ha Ryong revealed how he met his wife, who is nine years younger. He said, "I was walking and she greeted me. She was wearing a purple short-sleeve shirt. When I asked how she knew me, she said she used to greet me when I was working. Because I look so distinctive, she remembered me."
Lim Ha Ryong said, "She was so pretty. We had the wedding when the child was 4. We couldn't afford it. When the child was 4, I did 'Haryong Seodang' and got married. People were surprised twice. They asked why Lim Ha Ryong's bride was so pretty. The second time was when I gave a big diamond ring. But it was fake."
