Choa, formerly of the group Crayon Pop, delivered twin sons via uncomplicated birth.
Choa announced on the 27th, "Cute 2.46kg, Heart 2.38kg arrived on Earth very healthily, crying loudly as soon as they were born."
She added, "They are with mom and dad without neonatal intensive care (NICU). It's thanks to everyone who prayed for an easy delivery. I'm also perfectly fine," saying that everyone is healthy.
The photos released with the announcement show the twin sons lying side by side. Although they are twins, the fact they did not need intensive care and are healthy draws attention.
Earlier, Choa had reported being hospitalized about two weeks before her due date after sudden contractions and bleeding. She had said the children were doing well, but because she was a high-risk mother, "the decision on discharge would be made after monitoring the progress."
However, the next day she said, "failed to be discharged today," and ultimately remained hospitalized under medical judgment until delivery, giving birth to two sons healthily at the hospital.
Meanwhile, Choa married a businessman six years her senior in 2021. During preparations for pregnancy she was diagnosed with cervical cancer, underwent surgery to preserve fertility, and succeeded in conceiving twins through in vitro fertilization.
