'Amazing Saturday' singer Wooz recalled the memory of a two-hour karaoke showdown with Jozzazz.
On the 18th episode aired on tvN entertainment program 'Amazing Saturday' (hereafter Amazing Saturday), Wooz and Jozzazz appeared for the 'ZzZ' special. Jozzazz said he had actually hoped to become a regular on Amazing Saturday and, after seeing Young K, realized it was a realm he couldn't challenge and immediately backed off.
Wooz said he had a connection with him even before Jozzazz became known. Wooz said, "I once went to a shop through someone I knew, and the shop owner sang so well. The shop owner was Jozzazz. So we had a two-hour karaoke battle," saying that he was the shop owner Jozzazz.
Wooz continued, "Then I went into the military and found the karaoke shop owner on the charts. I watched the music video and the owner was singing against a black background. I thought, that's someone I know? Then suddenly he appeared on 'Immortal Songs' and, as if tightening his grip, climbed up my charts," he said.
Jozzazz said, "Wooz was very handsome. He sang songs like 'Tears' in a female key. I thought he would make it; even before he entered the military he was extremely popular. After his appearance on 'Immortal Songs,' Wooz even sent me a text to congratulate me," saying that he has continued his connection with Wooz since then.
