Wonder Girls alum Sunye said her grandmother opposed her marriage at the time.
On the 27th, the broadcast of KBS 2TV Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant (hereafter Fun-Staurant) featured Wonder Girls alum Sunye.
That day Sunye invited her aunt and uncle, who she said were like parents to her, to her home and served food she had made herself. The table was laid with dishes her grandmother often made when she was alive.
While they were eating, her aunt said, "When you first said you were going to get married, your grandmother at first opposed it," bringing up the marriage at the time. The reason the grandmother opposed the marriage was because of her young age.
In response, Sunye recalled, "My grandmother opposed it, saying, 'Why are you getting married so early?'" She added, "After she met my husband, she said, 'Now that you've decided, become the ghost of that house,'" she said. Boom, upon hearing this, called it "the grandmother's way of cheering," prompting laughter.
Sunye also expressed gratitude to her aunt and uncle, who are like parents. He spoke with his family over a meal and talked about life after marriage.
Meanwhile, Sunye stopped girl group activities in 2013, married a husband who was a former missionary, and has three daughters.<
