The group SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, THE 8, Mingyu, Dokyeom, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) sold out Hong Kong's largest stadium again.
SEVENTEEN opens the curtain for 'SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_] IN ASIA' at Hong Kong's Kai Tak Stadium today (28th) and tomorrow (March 1) and will meet about 73,000 spectators. All seats sold out on the day ticket sales opened, and even restricted-view seats were released, proving their strong ticket power.
Kai Tak Stadium is a venue visited by legendary British rock band Coldplay, Chinese-speaking top stars JJ Lin (Lin Junjie) and Jay Chou (Zhou Jielun), among others. SEVENTEEN re-entered this venue five months after September last year, setting the milestone of being the first K-pop artist to sell out four times.
'SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_] IN ASIA' continues to major large stadiums in Asia. SEVENTEEN will heat up the venues by visiting Singapore National Stadium on the 7th of next month, Bangkok National Stadium on the 14th–15th, and Bulacan Philippine Sports Stadium on the 21st.
Various offline events have also been prepared. Pop-up stores will be held in Hong Kong, Singapore and Bangkok before and after the concerts, and in Jakarta SEVENTEEN's official character pop-up "MINITEEN HOUSE PARTY" will open. 'SEVENTEEN EXPERIENCE,' which covers major city landmarks with SEVENTEEN to offer an expanded fan experience, will also take place in Singapore from the 2nd to the 8th of next month.
SEVENTEEN will return to Incheon Asiad Main Stadium on April 4–5 to present an encore concert that will close out the world tour. They showcased their status as 'performance masters' beginning in Incheon last September and touring five North American cities and four major domes in Japan. The encore concert will also be broadcast via online live streaming, likely thrilling CARATs (the fandom name) around the world.
The new song "Tiny Light," released on the 27th, is also receiving a good response. The song jumped to No. 1 on Japan AWA Music's real-time chart 'The Hot 100 (THE HOT 100)' immediately after its release. The song will also be used as the ending theme for part 2 of the animation 'B'stars FINAL SEASON,' which will be exclusively released worldwide on Netflix next month.
