Virtual girl group OWIS intensified debut excitement with a sensory video.
OWIS (Serin·Haru·Summer·Soyi·Yuni) released a logo motion video embodying the team's identity on its official social media on the 27th.
The released video begins against the backdrop of a classical museum. Then, in an "INFINITE zoom art" technique where a member in a frame on the wall peers into another frame, the members' worlds are implied to expand infinitely and be in consolidation. The final frame bore the team name "OWIS," leaving a strong impression.
Earlier, OWIS sequentially revealed the members' visuals and daily lives through a debut trailer and webtoon. This logo motion continues the narrative from the previously released "museum of memory" ticket and leaflet-style scheduler. In particular, it is receiving a strong response for its direction that guides viewers into OWIS's unique worldview.
OWIS stands for Only When I Sleep and carries the meaning of "only able to meet in dreams." The debut album's title track of the same name, "MUSEUM," conveys the message of exhibiting in the dream world the lost fragments of dreams that everyone once cherished.
Having foreshadowed an original narrative that crosses reality and virtuality, OWIS will continue to present diverse content such as concept photos, audio guides, and teasers. Attention is also focused on the musical path they will show.
