On the 26th, episode 7 of Mnet's 'Show Me the Money 12' aired a team matching mission with 31 contestants. That broadcast proved its popularity by ranking No. 1 in the same time slot among male and female viewers in their teens, including terrestrial broadcasters (AGB Nielsen, paid households in the Seoul metropolitan area). In addition, 'Show Me the Money 12' topped the TV-OTT integrated nondrama buzz ranking for the third week of February released by Good Data Corporation's FUNdex, adding to the excitement.
The broadcast opened with performances by four producer teams composed of an all-time lineup. Before the full team matching, the producers presented stages directly in front of the contestants, and the four teams instantly transformed the front row at home into a concert hall with overwhelming performances. Starting with GRAY·Loco, who led mass singing with a parade of 'Show Me the Money' hit songs, ZICO·Crush showed perfect harmony, Jay Tong·Huky Shibaseki revealed a distinctive presence with a performance of handing out vegetables, and Lil Moshpit·Park Jae-beom added intense energy, delivering a variety of stages.
Participants poured out praise for the highly complete legendary stages, saying, "It's a concert you can't see even if you pay for it," and "Pros are definitely pros." The producer performance that ranked first by the votes of the 31 contestants went to the ZICO·Crush team. The two received the benefit of a 'team priority matching right,' allowing them to recruit one desired rapper with priority.
