MC MONG is suspected of having someone else obtain a prescription for sleeping pills on his behalf, and the police have launched an investigation.
On the 27th, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul said it received the case, in which former Korean Medical Association Organization president Lim Hyun-taek accused MC MONG of violating the Narcotics Control Act and the Medical Service Act on the 25th, and is investigating it.
Earlier, Lim filed a complaint with the prosecution through the national petition portal last month, saying allegations had arisen that MC MONG had someone else obtain a prescription for zolpidem, a psychotropic drug, under the name of a former manager.
The Daejeon Seobu Police Station, which was assigned the case, reportedly summoned Lim as the accuser for questioning and then transferred the case to the Gangnam station, which has jurisdiction over MC MONG's residence.
