Actor Byun Yo-Han, 39, and actor Tiffany Young, 36, formerly of Girls' Generation, on the 27th completed their marriage registration and legally became spouses.
Byun Yo-Han's agency Team HoP issued an official statement the same day, saying, "Byun Yo-Han and Tiffany Young today completed their marriage registration based on deep trust and love for each other."
The agency said, "We were cautious, concerned that the continued news might cause fatigue, but the two actors conveyed that they wanted to inform the fans who have always watched over them with great love before anyone else," adding, "Respecting that, we are informing you this way."
Regarding the future ceremony schedule, it said, "There are currently no confirmed details such as a specific time or place," adding, "They are cautiously considering a simple wedding in the form of a worship service to share their gratitude with their families in the future."
It continued, "As the two begin a new journey in life, they will remember the support and love you have given and aim to repay you with greater maturity," adding, "We sincerely thank you for your interest and ask that you warmly watch over them so they can walk firmly in love."
The two appeared together in the Disney Plus series "Uncle SamSik," which aired in 2024, and developed into a romantic relationship, and in December last year it became known that they were dating with marriage in mind.
When their relationship became public, Byun Yo-Han wrote on his Instagram, "When we are together, I want to become a better person, and when I see the smiling face, even a weary heart soon grows warm—I met someone I love who makes that happen."
Tiffany Young also said, "I am currently in a serious relationship with one person, with marriage in mind," adding, "This person gives me stability and helps me look at the world with a positive, hope-filled perspective."
