Dongho (32), formerly of the group U-KISS, denied allegations of infidelity and claims of unpaid child support raised by his ex-wife and said he plans to file a criminal complaint.
On the 26th, Dongho posted twice on social media (SNS), disputing recent claims from his ex-wife's side. Dongho said, "We are just ordinary people, and even if I was a celebrity in the past, you (my wife) are taking the lead in making a family matter that no one is curious about a public issue right now."
He added, "For our son, stop playing the victim and, if you have something to say, file a complaint and talk to your lawyer," and said, "Don't forget that you started both the complaint and this whole mess, and get a grip."
Dongho then posted a second statement denying the allegations overall. He said, "To avoid any misunderstanding, I have never cheated, and the claims about visitation, child support, and abuse are all false," adding, "I plan to file a criminal complaint for spreading false information and defamation."
Addressing his ex-wife, who set her social media account to private after the exposé, he said, "If you're going to switch to private and hide, what nerve did you have to pull this?" and added, "I've put up with this with good intentions until now, but I can't take it anymore."
He went on, "Now I understand why even your mother had you forcibly admitted to a psychiatric hospital," and said, "She said the same yesterday. She asked me to understand because the psychiatric medication you took to Japan has run out and you're not in your right mind. I've put up with a lot too, so let's see what happens."
Dongho also said, "I don't know what wrongdoing you committed that you're on the run for," and added, "I warned you enough, and you're the one who crossed the line."
Dongho and his ex-wife are currently making conflicting claims over child support payments, visitation, and privacy issues.
On the 25th, the ex-wife said on SNS that Dongho made negative remarks about her in front of their child and has conveyed past events contrary to the facts. She also noted that Dongho's misconduct during the marriage was the key cause of the breakup. At the same time, she raised allegations that he gave luxury gifts to a hostess while not paying child support, and, citing various issues that arose during the marriage, claimed she did not receive child support or alimony.
Born in 1994, Dongho debuted in 2008 as a rapper with the group U-KISS and was active with songs such as "Man Man Ha Ni" and "Neverland." After leaving the team in Oct. 2013, he debuted as a DJ under the stage name "Rushin Justin," and has since reportedly been running a business in parallel.
