"Bridgerton 4" part 2 rose to No. 2 on Netflix Korea immediately after its release, maintaining momentum despite the staggered release.
On the morning of the 27th, on Netflix Korea's today's Top 10 series chart in Korea, "Bridgerton 4" part 2 is ranked No. 2.
The No. 1 spot is the Korean drama Lady Dua, which was released as a Netflix original on the 13th. Lady Dua was produced as a single eight-episode series and, under glowing praise for lead actress Shin Hae-sun's title-role performance, continues to hold the No. 1 spot on Netflix Korea.
Among them, Bridgerton 4, whose part 2 was first released on the 26th, surged to No. 2 domestically just one day after its release. Traditionally on Netflix Korea, even popular foreign dramas have peaked at No. 2. Bridgerton 4 rose quickly despite the staggered release of part 1 and part 2, proving fans' patience.
Bridgerton is a British period drama set in the Regency era that portrays the love stories of the children of the prestigious Bridgerton family. In particular, in season 4, Korean American actress Ha Ye-rin, who is also the granddaughter of actress Son Sook, plays the protagonist Sophie Beck, portraying a love that transcends social status inspired by the Cinderella story, earning passionate love from fans at home and abroad.
In the story, Sophie falls in love with Benedict Bridgerton, the Bridgerton family's second son. As a result, the pairing of Benedict and Sophie, called "Benophie," and the chemistry shown by Luke Thompson, who plays Benedict, and Ha Ye-rin, who plays Sophie Beck, during promotional activities has earned them the fan-given nickname "Lukerin," receiving fans' support.
"Bridgerton 4" released part 1, episodes 1 through 4, on the 29th of last month, and part 2, consisting of episodes 5 through 8, meets viewers in a total of four episodes. <
