Actress Nam Bo-ra, who is due to give birth in June, revealed the sex of her second child.
On the 27th episode of KBS 2TV Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant (hereinafter Fun-Staurant), Nam Bo-ra prepared a moment with her family to reveal the sex of the baby to be born.
That day, Nam Bo-ra's siblings prepared a banner that read "Bora's first niece/nephew! first grandchild! What is Kongaeli's sex?", and Nam Bo-ra said, "This is the first time the sex is being revealed on Fun-Staurant," and held what she called a "gender reveal party."
Nam Bo-ra's father, who participated via video call, said, "I'm certain it's a daughter. I've seen my wife pregnant many times, so I can tell by her behavior," expressing his expectations. When Boom asked, "Which would you prefer, a son or a daughter?" Nam Bo-ra replied, "Actually I want a daughter. My husband also wants a daughter."
They then popped a large balloon to reveal the sex, and blue paper poured out, and Nam Bo-ra, showing joy, said, "It's a son." However, her father reacted, "Why was I wrong?" which drew laughter.
Meanwhile, Nam Bo-ra, born in 1989, first became known after appearing as the eldest daughter of 11 siblings on a 2005 MBC variety program. She married a non-celebrity businessman last year and is currently expecting her first child.<
