Singer Hwasa (HWASA) will appear at Rock in Rio, one of the world's largest music festivals, showcasing her status as a leading K-pop diva.
P NATION said on the 27th that Hwasa was invited as a guest artist and confirmed her appearance at Rock in Rio 2026, which will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in September.
Rock in Rio 2026 will be held at Olympic Park in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Sept. 4-7 and 11-13 (local time), and Hwasa will perform on the 11th to meet fans attending the festival.
Rock in Rio began in Rio de Janeiro in 1985 and has grown into one of the world's largest music festivals, drawing millions of attendees and taking place in locations including Lisbon, Portugal; Madrid, Spain; and Las Vegas, U.S.
Nicknamed the "dream stage" for musicians, Rock in Rio has featured top pop stars such as Queen, Guns N' Roses, Bon Jovi, and Beyonce. This year's lineup includes legendary acts like Elton John and Maroon 5, and Stray Kids has been confirmed as the first K-pop group to headline, drawing attention.
At this festival, Hwasa is expected to showcase her diva charm as a representative of K-pop to local fans, with her distinctive alluring tone and commanding performances full of passion.
In addition to hits such as twit, Maria, and I Love My Body, Hwasa is expected to captivate local fans with a setlist full of her unique color, including her recent mega-hit Good Goodbye.
With Good Goodbye, released last October, Hwasa rose to the top among domestic singers with a total of 750 appearances on iChart's all-time Perfect All-Kill (PAK) ranking, which aggregates daily, weekly and real-time chart positions from six major domestic music sites.
She also achieved her best results since debuting as a solo singer, winning five music show trophies including a triple crown on SBS's Inkigayo and six crowns on the Circle Chart.
Having proven her artistry as a 12-year artist through her first solo concert, MI CASA, in January, Hwasa is expected to expand her standing as a global solo queen through her appearance at Rock in Rio.
