U-KISS alumnus Dongho warned he would take a tough stance, calling his ex-wife's revealing allegations all false. While his ex raised suspicions of infidelity during their marriage and issues over child support, Dongho drew a line, saying that allegations of infidelity as well as those related to child support, visitation and abuse are not true. But another rebuttal from the ex followed, and the online battle over the truth is intensifying.
On the 26th, Dongho posted a long message on his personal social media, saying he did not know why articles were being written about this, but added that he would speak clearly to prevent misunderstandings. He denied he ever had an affair and said all claims related to visitation, child support and abuse were false. He went on to say he plans to file criminal charges for spreading false information and defamation, formalizing legal action.
Dongho in particular expressed strong displeasure after tagging his ex-wife's account directly and noting that she made her account private after posting the exposé. He said he had tolerated things up to now to avoid escalating the conflict, but that this matter could no longer be ignored. He repeatedly emphasized that the claims publicly raised by his ex were different from the facts and added that he was no longer afraid of public discussion or media coverage.
Dongho also noted that he has long been close to a "private citizen," having stopped entertainment industry activity. He expressed that it is awkward for things to spread in articles when public interest is not what it used to be, while maintaining that a tough response is unavoidable to set the facts straight. To prevent the claims by his ex from being accepted as fact, he left remarks like "let's take it all the way."
Earlier, on the 25th, the ex-wife, identified as A, claimed on social media that Dongho had had multiple affairs during their marriage. She alleged there were circumstances suggesting he sent direct messages to others even during her pregnancy, and added that after the divorce child support payments were not properly made and he showed an uncommitted attitude during visitation. Some of the details were written with specific descriptions of situations and quickly spread online.
But Dongho rejected the overall claims, saying they were false. He also made clear that he would respond through legal procedures even if the controversy around him grew larger.
On the same day, the ex-wife A immediately hit back with an additional exposé. She made a shocking claim, saying, "Oh, it's all false. Are you crazy? Fine, let's take this all the way. Please go ahead and sue. I'll reveal the names of the members who did prostitution with Dongho."
She went on to rebut, saying, "I never received child support, and about hitting the child—I'll take the child out, reveal faces, and have the child give statements to reporters properly. I can verify my child support account and my mother's account and will lay it all out. What makes you so confident? I am pursuing a lawsuit and will show no leniency. I have a recording of a phone call with Dongho's mother."
In particular, she added the shocking claim that he said, "If you teach even a bar girl well, she can be managed with money," and, "You should give her three condoms," along with the allegation, "He prostituted our son."
Meanwhile, Dongho debuted in 2008 with U-KISS and became known through group activities and appearances on variety shows and acting. He stopped entertainment industry activities in 2013, and in 2015 he married a non-celebrity one year his senior and had a son. However, the couple announced their divorce in 2018, three years after marriage, citing personality differences. At the time, Dongho said the uncontested divorce process had been completed and left a statement saying he would fulfill his responsibilities as a parent to the end.
But with both sides' positions directly clashing, the battle over the facts is expected to continue for the time being.
