'Former T-ara singer Soyeon revealed daily life in Dubai with her husband, national soccer player Jo Yu-min, showing her role as 'queen of support'.
Recently the YouTube channel 'Jim Jong-kook' posted a video titled 'Hyung, make a gym in Dubai too... (Feat. Park Jae-beom, Jo Yu-min, T-ara Soyeon, Saif Belhasa)'. The video showed Jo Yu-min and Soyeon visiting Kim Jong Kook's performance preparation site.
After finishing his morning workout, Kim Jong Kook, who was checking the backstage of the performance stage, warmly greeted Jo Yu-min who came to the waiting room. The meeting naturally led to an appearance on the channel, and a relaxed atmosphere followed as they discussed life in the Middle East and soccer. Jo Yu-min drew attention by saying, "I will prepare hard to be able to go to the World Cup."
Soyeon drew attention by staying by her husband's side like a magnet and quietly supporting him. Her voice could be heard intermittently in the video. As a junior she had not seen in a while, she greeted Kim Jong Kook warmly and also updated viewers on her life in the Middle East.
The two have been living together in the United Arab Emirates, where Jo Yu-min's club Sharjah FC is based, since they married in 2022. Soyeon's quiet support for her husband continuing his career abroad added warmth.
Jo Yu-min, regarded as a defender with both personality and skill, is preparing with the upcoming CONCACAF World Cup in mind. Kim Jong Kook also added support, saying, "I support his future playing career."
