Netflix variety show "Crazy Restaurant" season 5 is returning on Mar. 12 with a refreshed look, and a gourmet date between Sung Si Kyung and a Japanese actress has been revealed.
Ahead of the release, on the 26th (Thu) the production company Studio Modak's official SNS unveiled the first teaser video offering a glimpse of season 5's atmosphere. In this video, a new meal companion who will join Sung Si Kyung, Miyoshi Ayaka, appears for the first time, raising expectations.
Miyoshi Ayaka is an overwhelmingly charismatic top Japanese model and an actress who won global viewers' hearts as the character "An" in the Netflix hit "Alice in Borderland." Miyoshi Ayaka, who combines acting ability and star power, this time showcases a different charm through "Crazy Restaurant."
The released teaser video captures a Korea-Japan gourmet date between Sung Si Kyung and Miyoshi Ayaka. Miyoshi Ayaka revealed an exceptional appetite, not only showing the basic bite shot but eating more than Sung Si Kyung while saying, "You can't give up delicious food." In response, Sung Si Kyung could not hide his surprise, saying, "Miyoshi-san is a food fighter."
Miyoshi Ayaka's extraordinary love for Korea is also evident. Having visited Korea more than 50 times, Miyoshi Ayaka listed soy-marinated shrimp, cheonggukjang, sundae, and beef bone soup as the foods she enjoyed most. Her unexpected tastes and deep understanding of Korean food and the Korean language also drew attention. Sung Si Kyung even expressed admiration for her naturally fluent Korean, saying, "Doesn't her pronunciation sound so good?"
