"Problem Child in House" Chef Lee Mun-jung's uncommon humility shone.
On the 26th episode of KBS2TV variety show "Problem Child in House," Chefs Jung Ji-seon and Lee Mun-jung, who sparked discussion each season of Culinary Class Wars, appeared.
Chef Lee Mun-jung appeared as a Black Spoon chef on "Culinary Class Wars 2," showcasing tremendous wok and knife skills that drew attention. Moreover, in the team competition, her quiet dedication to her work displayed the image of a true master and a martial arts hero, stirring the hearts of many viewers.
Chef Lee Mun-jung said with a calm laugh, "Actually, after being eliminated, it stayed on my mind for a long time. I worked as a hotel chef for 25 years, and I thought I was good, but that arrogance came back at me like an arrow and made me drink a bitter cup." Chef Lee Mun-jung is currently a chef dedicated to a major company's executive lounge, a position where it is difficult even to taste easily, yet she spoke humbly.
Hong Jin Kyung asked, "I heard you didn't go home immediately after elimination?" Chef Lee Mun-jung said, "In the Culinary Class Wars 2 repechage, I actually thought four people would advance. I thought, if not me, then who would go up, so I approached it a bit more relaxed. After all the cooking, they picked two people. It wasn't what I expected. Still, I thought there might be an additional repechage," and added, "In the waiting room, the producer and the writer came and said, 'You can go home now,' but I couldn't believe it."
