Singer Wendy responded to a public marriage proposal for her older sister, who is a practicing pharmacist.
On the afternoon of the 26th, a video titled "From being bullied in the U.S. to ranking first in school: the shocking experiences Wendy had while studying abroad" was uploaded to the channel "Goeun unni Han Goeun."
Wendy said she spent her middle school years in Canada and attended high school in the United States, "I hardly studied in middle school, so I was almost about to 'fail' (fail the grade). When I started high school, my parents thought, 'At this rate she won't get into college. This won't work,' so they told me to go to the U.S. where my sister is. They sent me to the U.S. immediately," she said.
She continued, "I lived in a dormitory and entered a private school. When I entered the private school I lived with my sister, and my sister acted as my parents. Then I started studying little by little. I stayed in a different room from my sister, but she always checked. At the time I didn't feel grateful to my sister; I hated it," referring to her older sister, who is three years older, eliciting laughter.
When Han Goeun asked, "What is your sister doing now? Is she married?", Wendy said, "My sister is working as a pharmacist now. She isn't married, and she's the top bride candidate. If anyone wants to take her, please take her. She's in Canada and her name is Son Seung-hee. She's very sharp," actively making a public marriage proposal and drawing attention.
