Coupang Play soccer survival show "Next Legend" opens the prelude to the Korea-Japan match.
On the 26th, the production team of the Coupang Play entertainment program "Next Legend" released still cuts along with the preview of episode 6. Among them, images of contestants facing the final gate of the first half were revealed, delivering extreme tension.
"Next Legend" is a real survival show in which next-generation prospects who will lead the future of Korea soccer compete fiercely to earn opportunities to go abroad. Contestants must pass the "first half" held in Korea to advance to the "second half" to be held in the United Kingdom, and they face an extreme stage that tests their limits at every moment.
In particular, the released still cuts captured contestants fighting with all their might on the verge of victory in the eternal rivalry match "Korea vs. Japan." Uniforms are soaked with sweat, and even as breath rises to the chin, the contestants raise all their capabilities to the highest level for the fateful "Korea vs. Japan" they must win. Determined expressions seeking to surpass limits and the strategic command of director Lee Young-pyo make the direction of the match even more intriguing.
The released preview contains players' voices encouraging each other with lines such as "let's run hard until the end!", "let's win!", and "talk more!", raising the tension. The contestants plunge into the once-in-a-lifetime contest called the irreversible "Korea vs. Japan" and burn with passion that may be their last.
Then director Lee Young-pyo, as if facing a moment of decision, changed the atmosphere on site at once with a pensive voice saying, "it's so hard for us to choose." Soon after, at his announcement, "now first, the first eliminated is," the contestants swallowed and waited for the result, and a resigned sigh from one contestant, "my mental is gone," further heightened the tension.
"Next Legend" selected a 'best 11' after 44 Korean soccer prospects underwent a skill search and played a first evaluation match against the youth team of Palmeiras of Brazil, and determined the first eliminated through the second test, "DISTRICT 3." The subsequent in-house evaluation and repechage left a total of 18 survivors who challenge the final ticket to go to the United Kingdom through the fateful "Korea vs. Japan."
Turning the midpoint and leaving the last gate toward the second half, "Next Legend" is released only on Coupang Play every Friday at 4 p.m.<
