Actor Jung Hye-sung said she went through a difficult time in college because of her father's overprotection.
On the 25th, a video featuring Jung Hye-sung as a guest was released on the YouTube channel "No-ppakku Tak Jae-Hoon." In the video, Tak Jae-Hoon said, "I heard her father managed her so closely because his daughter was so pretty that he even followed her to college MTs."
In response, Jung Hye-sung said, "My dad's restraint and confinement were so hard," adding, "It was a very difficult period in my life. My dad even followed my older sister to her MTs."
Jung Hye-sung went on, "During MTs, my friends all took the bus together, but my parents drove me there. Even after dropping me off, they watched from a distance."
Because of this, Jung Hye-sung was nicknamed "Rapunzel" among her friends. Rapunzel is a character from a Brothers Grimm fairy tale who lives cut off from the outside world, locked in a high tower by a witch. Jung Hye-sung said, "Back then I couldn't even date," adding, "When my dad confined me, people said I was living in a prison without bars."
Jung Hye-sung said, "I want to tell dads across the country: there's no point in trying to stop it anyway. Everyone will figure out how to have their fun."
