Dragon Pony revealed spoilers of their new record ahead of their comeback.
Dragon Pony (Ahn Taegyu, Pyeon Seonghyun, Kwon Sehyuk, Go Ganghun) appeared on the MBC FM4U show "Chinhan Chingu Bangsongban" visible radio broadcast on the 25th and talked about various topics including the behind-the-scenes work on their third EP "RUN RUN RUN".
Appearing with the introduction "Running with the hot energy of youth, Dragon Pony," the four members took time to delve into the EP "RUN RUN RUN" in advance. Ahn Taegyu introduced the album, saying "As the title 'RUN RUN RUN' suggests, it carries a message of moving forward. It's an album that expresses the emotions we feel at each moment through a variety of genres."
They also mentioned the title track "Oh, everything goes my way!" Kwon Sehyuk said, "You must include the exclamation point. It's a song whose color is clearly different from the title tracks we've released before," and added, "It's a new-feeling song with both energy and a message." The members then described the title track each in one word—"drums," "movement," "ah!", "perfect"—adding to the curiosity.
In particular, Dragon Pony announced that they handled all the lyrics, composition and arrangements for RUN RUN RUN, cementing their presence as a self-producing band. In response to a listener's question about behind-the-scenes work, Go Ganghun hinted, "I tried using instruments I hadn't used before in various ways," and Pyeon Seonghyun said, "I once made the track 'Hidden Heart' and cried while listening to the song because I was so immersed in its content," raising expectations.
Dragon Pony will release their third EP "RUN RUN RUN" on March 10 at 6 p.m. on various music sites. "RUN RUN RUN" is an album that further solidifies Dragon Pony's uniquely imperfect coming-of-age narrative. A total of five songs are included: the title track "Oh, everything goes my way!", along with "Palm Lines," "Zombie," "Rehearsal," and "Hidden Heart." With the shout "Oh, everything goes my way!", Dragon Pony will continue their musical sprint as listeners' running mate.
