Group NMIXX (NMIXX) will stoke global excitement by releasing a new song today (26) after attending the Viña del Mar Festival as the first K-pop artist to do so.
NMIXX appeared on the 25th (local time) at the Quinta Vergara outdoor theater in Viña del Mar, Chile, at Latin America's representative festival, the 2026 Viña del Mar Festival (2026 Festival de Viña del Mar). Invited as the first K-pop artist to the large festival, which boasts more than 60 years of history and tradition, the members shone with passionate performances in front of a sea of spectators, showcasing their presence as an all-ace girl group.
"In 2025 we were invited to the festival as guests and watched from the audience, so it is an honor to be able to take the stage this time as artists," said NMIXX, who expressed their excitement. They performed the group's signature songs in succession, including O.O (O.O), DASH (DASH), Love Me Like This (Love Me Like This), and Run For Roses (Run For Roses), and engaged with fans in the local language. The audience chants calling NMIXX from before the show grew louder as the stage progressed, making the satisfaction proportional to the decibels.
Especially, stages such as Soñar (Spanish Ver.) (Soñar (Spanish Ver.)), DICE (DICE), which shouted "Vamos amigos" (Vamos amigos, "let's go friends"), and RICO (RICO), which added Spanish lyrics to Latin pop sounds, drove fans even more wild, and the cover stage of Ponte Lokita (Ponte Lokita) by local popular artists Katteyes and Kidd Voodoo added thrill with a surprise joint performance with Kidd Voodoo. The performance of the new song TIC TIC (Feat. Pabllo Vittar) (TIC TIC (Feat. Pabllo Vittar)), first revealed at the Brazilian Carnival São Paulo on Feb. 16, was also a highlight and they held a special trophy filled with fans' sentiments as they decorated the Chilean night sky with even greater power.
From the São Paulo Carnival, which drew about 2 million people, to the Viña del Mar Festival, where they became the first K-pop artist to perform, fans praised NMIXX for unleashing energy at Latin America's iconic festivals, saying, "The scale and passion of the festival combined with NMIXX's harmony is fantastic," and "We're proud of how they are expanding worldwide."
Riding the momentum, they will officially release the new song TIC TIC (Feat. Pabllo Vittar) today (26). It is their second collaboration with Brazilian representative artist Pabllo Vittar following MEXE (MEXE) last August, showcasing MIXX POP (MIXX POP) characterized by a speedy progression and an addictive chorus. It carries the message of "moving quickly in a busy world and enjoying life so that not a single moment is regrettable," and member Lily participated in the songwriting to add authenticity.
Ahead of the single release, the members said through their agency JYP Entertainment, "We are looking forward to being able to connect more deeply with fans through TIC TIC (Feat. Pabllo Vittar). We were happy to work with Pabllo Vittar again and learned a lot. The song is new and addictive in both dance and vocals, and especially the 'tic tic tic tic' chorus seems likely to linger in many people's heads. We will continue to show new sides of ourselves and deliver happy stages and music!" They added that TIC TIC (Feat. Pabllo Vittar), which will expand NMIXX's musical boundaries, will be available on various music sites at noon on Feb. 26.
