'Exclusive World' actress Kim Ae-kyung had a sharp exchange with her husband on her birthday and eventually stormed out.
On the 26th episode aired on MBN's 'Exclusive World', Kim Ae-kyung's recent situation was revealed.
Kim Ae-kyung and her husband Lee Chan-ho were sitting on the living room sofa talking when they clashed over the topic of a drinking appointment. When her husband began, "A few days ago I got a call from a friend. You know that friend, right?" Kim Ae-kyung responded warily, "So did you meet them?"
When her husband answered, "Yes, I met them. It had been a while," Kim Ae-kyung raised her voice, saying, "I told you not to meet them." Her husband firmly countered, "I won't drink, so don't worry. I'll handle it myself," and they engaged in a tense standoff.
Eventually the anger she had been holding back erupted. Kim Ae-kyung lamented, "Please! Why did you bring it up on my birthday of all days? Aren't you ruining the mood?" She could not hold back her anger, abruptly stood up and left the house.
Earlier, Kim Ae-kyung confessed that she had experienced deep conflict in the past because of her husband's drinking habits. Kim Ae-kyung recounted an incident, saying, "(My husband) was completely drunk and a total mess. A mess, a mess. Completely. Did I marry someone just to have them drink and cause trouble?" and revealed frankly that they currently live as a 'separate-house couple'.
