Rookie actress Han Chaerin will appear in tvN's new Monday-Tuesday drama "Siren," which premieres on Mar. 2 (directed by Kim Cheolgyu, creator Jo Hyunkyung, written by Lee Young).
Han Chaerin plays Do Eun-hye, the younger sister of Do Eun-hyeok (played by Han Junwoo), who is the close friend of Han Seol-a (Park Minyoung). Do Eun-hye is the sole witness to the incident and a character who harbors strong suspicions toward Han Seol-a and confronts her.
Han Chaerin said, "It is a great honor in itself to be able to work with seniors I respect. I want to do well and I want to do my best. I will do my utmost so as not to be a burden to the production."
After debuting as the mysterious private tutor Yoo So-yeon in last year's GenieTV original "Riding Life," Han Chaerin drew attention for delivering a stable performance as a significant character who causes the final twist. She went on to give a passionate performance as Min Ye-rin, a lawyer striving to balance work and love, in tvN's "Our Unwritten Seoul," leaving a strong impression with acting beyond a rookie's level.
This time Han Chaerin takes on the role of Do Eun-hye, a character who circles the protagonist Han Seol-a, strongly suspects her and confronts her, injecting strong tension into the work. With stable acting as a foundation, expectations have been building for Han Chaerin, and attention is focused on what kind of performance will captivate viewers this time.
Meanwhile, "Siren" is a fatal romantic thriller about an irresistibly alluring suspected insurance fraudster, Han Seol-a, and a man who digs into the deaths surrounding her with suspicion; actors Park Minyoung, Wi Ha-jun and Kim Junghyun appear in the series. It premieres on Mar. 2 at 8:50 p.m.
