Singer-songwriter Jeong Ye-won presents a remake recording that captures her uniquely distinctive youthful sensibility.
Jeong Ye-won's new song "Lemon Tree" is a newly remade album of Park Hye-kyung's 2008 hit of the same name, reinterpreting the original's bright and upbeat mood into Jeong Ye-won's calm and delicate sensibility to express the languid, repetitive emotions of everyday life.
In particular, this new release is the result of fans' passionate requests bearing fruit. Jeong Ye-won's cover video of "Lemon Tree," recorded during her trip to the U.K. in 2024, received 13 million views and topped the Instagram Reels chart, earning widespread love, and because release requests continued to flood in until recently, this officially released track reborn as a recorded single is expected to be an exceptionally special gift for music fans.
After newly joining M.O.M Entertainment in December last year, Jeong Ye-won is stepping up her music activities with this release as a turning point. Having proven her abilities as a versatile entertainer through her activities on SBS Shooting Stars as well as acting and publishing books, expectations are growing for the new image she will show as a singer, her main profession.
Meanwhile, Jeong Ye-won's new song "Lemon Tree" will be released today (the 25th) at 6 p.m. on various online music sites.
