However, Cho Young-goo also showed shock after receiving an abnormal health diagnosis. He said, "I get anxious as I age one year at a time. I'm especially worried about vascular disease," and noted, "My mother suffered from high blood pressure, diabetes and heart disease."
In particular, Cho Young-goo said he was diagnosed with hyperlipidemia in his mid-50s and confessed, "I was also told I'm at high risk for diabetes and fatty liver. Living with my wife who is 11 years younger made me more concerned, so the shock was big."
Meanwhile, Cho Young-goo previously said he experienced health problems after investment failures and fraud. At the time Cho Young-goo said, "The money I lent and didn't get back amounted to 3.5 billion won, and I lost 2.1 billion won in stocks," saying he suffered about 5.6 billion won in losses.
Cho Young-goo also confessed, "At first I started with 20 million won in stocks and made 10 million won in just 15 days. From then I jumped into stocks and was crazy. When stocks rose I felt good, and when they fell I felt depressed. I used to fight with my wife all the time."
Cho Young-goo married shopping host Shin Jae-eun in 2008 and has one son.
