HYBE-Geffen Records' global girl group KATSEYE is continuing a long-running success on the U.S. Billboard main album chart.
According to the latest chart released by Billboard (Feb. 28), KATSEYE's second EP "BEAUTIFUL CHAOS" is at No. 52 on the Billboard 200. The album has been charting for about eight months since it rose to a peak of No. 4 (July 12, 2025). This is the longest-running record among girl group albums released in 2025.
Also, "BEAUTIFUL CHAOS" was the seventh best-selling physical album in the U.S. last year (according to Luminate's "2025 annual report"), and it is enjoying a long run on the sales charts as well. This week it ranked No. 11 on both the Top Album Sales and Top Current Album Sales charts. On both charts it climbed five spots from the previous week, achieving 34 consecutive weeks on the charts.
The first EP "SIS (Soft Is Strong)", released in Aug. 2024, reentered the Billboard 200 at No. 192. Although it has been more than a year and a half since its release, it still ranks No. 21 on Top Album Sales and continues to be loved.
The songs are also enjoying steady popularity. "Gabriela," a track from "BEAUTIFUL CHAOS," settled at No. 50 on the Global 200 and No. 39 on the Global (excluding U.S.) chart. Both charts mark 35 consecutive weeks on the charts.
KATSEYE was formed through the audition project "The Debut: Dream Academy" based on the K-pop methodology, and is cited as a representative success case of the multi-home, multi-genre strategy led by HYBE chairman Bang Si-hyuk. They were nominated in four categories at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in March, and are scheduled to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April.
