The released video captured Yoo Ji-tae, who gave a passionate performance as Han Myeong-hoe in The King's Warden, bowing his head in apology, drawing attention.
Yoo Ji-tae bowed and apologized, saying, "I am sorry. It was all my pajamas." This was followed by memes saying, "Why did pajamas suddenly appear," and, "He must have misspoken about the wrongdoing." The King's Warden is a film set in 1457 at Cheongnyeongpo about a village chief who volunteered for exile for the sake of the village's revival and a young deposed king exiled from the throne. It tells the story of King Danjong of Joseon, who tragically died young in exile, and the real-life figure Eom Heung-do, who risked danger to retrieve his body and forged a friendship, and has received praise.
Among them, Yoo Ji-tae gave a passionate performance as Han Myeong-hoe, the powerful Joseon figure who deposed Danjong and installed Grand Prince Suyang as king. He received praise as "a Han Myeong-hoe we have never seen before" for the imposing presence and chilling villainy that emanated from his sturdy figure.
